The Norwegian Public Health Institute will hold an event at Arendalsuka on August 10, 2026 at 14:00-15:00 entitled 'Global health at the turning point: Is solidarity dead?'.
Norwegian Public Health Institute (Folkehelseinstituttet, FHI) colleagues Specialist Director for Global Health Frode Forland and Director General Guri Rørtveit, will be joined by Delores Camilla Kotze, Ambassador to Norway of the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa, as well as Nicolas de La Grandville, Ambassador to Norway from the European Union. Discussion insights will be used in the White Paper developed for the Turning Point Prosjekt (Prosjekt Vendepunkt) on the future of Norwegian development policy, led by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event is in-person and free to attend without registration.
