Course in Vaccinology in India September 20 to September 30, 2010 – Opportunity for Norwegian Researchers and Students.
A two-week course in Vaccinology with several Indian and International lecturers will be held in Vellore, India this fall. The course aims to provide a comprehensive overview of Vaccinology and will cover several aspects such as basic immunology, the process of development of a vaccine, the licensure and regulatory requirements, the process of introducing a new vaccine into a country, vaccine trials, and translation of research into policy.
The course is partly funded through a grant from The Research Council of Norway and a limited number of seats have been reserved for participants from Norwegian Institutions. This grant also covers travels to India and course fee.

Strand directly for additional information and if interested in taking the course. Priority will be given to Ph.D students or Post Doctoral researchers who do research related to vaccines or immunology.
