The Norwegian forum for Global Health Research calls for policy makers and funders to:

1. Support research that will generate robust knowledge on the effective implementation of healthcare interventions with proven efficacy, and

2. Strengthen the capacity in Norwegian and partner institutions in low and middle income countries for implementation research and contribute to the international initiatives in the field.
