The huge global health problems among poor populations have resulted in a number of global health initiatives. What are the challenges of implementing health interventions, and how can research contribute to improved implementation? How can research contribute to better prevention, treatment and care for HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis? These and other questions will be addressed by scientists from the north and the south. This year’s conference is organized by The Research Council of Norway and The Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Heigher Education (SIU) in collaboration with The Norwegian Forum for Global Health Research and the Norwegian Directorate for Health.
