Opportunity for Norwegian scientists/research groups to participate in a Phase III Rotavirus vaccine trial in India

Norway has been invited to participate in a phase III randomized double blind placebo controlled trial of a new rotavirus vaccine in India with the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) in India and the international nonprofit organization PATH (http://www.path.org). Norwegian scientist and research groups are invited to participate in collaborative activities, which will be coordinated through the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, and supported by the Research Council of Norway (RCN). Potential collaborators are invited to attend a meeting in Oslo on September 16th 2009, at the Norwegian Research Council, Stensberggata 26, from 10:00 to 13:00, where possible modes of collaboration will be discussed.
